So the England team’s captain Joe Root has won the toss yesterday and England batted first. England scored 183 runs in their first innings by using 65.4 overs of the day one play. The captain of the English team Joe Root was only the batsman who crossed 50 runs mark (His last 12 innings he has not scored a test fifty). He faced 108 deliveries and scored 64 runs. He completed his beautiful innings by smashing eleven boundaries.

Jonny Bairstow added 29 runs to his team’s scorecard. Zak Crawley contributed 27 runs as same as Sam Curran who also scored 17 runs. Jasprit Bumrah bowled 20.4 overs and gave 46 runs by taking four wickets. Mohammed Shami was the most economical bowler in yesterday’s play. He bowled seventeen overs, took three wickets, leaked just 28 runs. Mohammed Siraj took one wicket and Shardul Thakur 2.

  1. Even after calling Indian players along with their families, girlfriends since several months ahead with all facilities provided to them by BCCI it shows they have been totally spoiled by them. Kohli has become totally spoiled brat. High time to give him rest or remove from his captaincy. Too much of money has brought him arrogance, pride, tantrums & exaggerations to exceed his limits. No doubt India lost world cup against brave NZ who came to know all weaknesses of proud, arrogant Indian players.
