Eng v SA highlights today, second test day one – from Trent Bridge, Nottingham (England) Friday 14th July 2017. England won the first test by big 211 runs margin at Lord’s, London. In that match, England won the toss and batted first. They scored 458 runs in the first innings with 105.3 overs all out. England had four down at 76 but they managed the big total with the help off JE Root* 190 runs knock. He smashed 27 4s and a maximum in his innings. BA Stokes 56, MM Ali 87 and SCJ Broad 57 not out. M Morkel took four wickets, VD Philander and K Rabada these two took three wickets each of them.

Another side South Africa scored 361 runs all out in their first innings and they faced almost equal overs then England’s first innings. MM Ali took four wickets, JM Anderson, SCJ Broad and LA Dawson these three took two wickets each of them. England scored 233 runs in their second innings all out in 87.1 overs and South Africa all out at 119 in their second innings. MM Ali took six wickets in that innings.
